A-Level Biology, Chemistry And Physics Examination Entry

3A Tutors Ltd specialises in providing private candidate examination entry (including the practical assessment) for A-Level Biology, Chemistry and Physics. These qualifications are available to all students, including home-educated, distance-learning and mature students living in the UK and overseas.

A-Level Practical Endorsements.

We offer Practical Assessment (Endorsements) in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics through the AQA examination board at state-of-the-art laboratory facilities we have access to at the University of Bristol. Completion of the Practical Endorsement in each subject involves the candidate attending at the laboratories for four / five consecutive days (typically Monday/Tuesday to Friday, 35-40-hours of in-lab time) during which the candidates complete 12 set practical activities. Timetabling is such that a candidate can complete the Practical Endorsement in one, two, or all three subjects.

Demonstrators, tutors and assessors are in attendance throughout the four / five days at the university to support, assist and assess the candidates against the Common Practical Assessment Criteria (CPAC). Our tutors work with the candidates to ensure they acquire the necessary experimental skills to demonstrate proficiency in the key skills required to fulfil the CPAC and so pass the Practical Endorsement.

In 2017 and 2018 100% of our A-Level Biology, Chemistry and Physics candidates achieved a Pass for the Practical Endorsement.

Registration for A-Level Biology, Chemistry and / or Physics involves the completion of an entry form and the payment of the required fee. Payment can be made at the time of booking or over an extended period through one of our interest-free instalment plans.
