In English we put a classical focus on relevant grammar, spelling, comprehension and writing techniques. Our programme is uniquely designed in order to incorporate the classic grammar rules, but also allow students to explore wider forms of relevant literature and to begin working on how to approach longer writing tasks. Through years of teaching experience, and correspondence with exam boards, we have realised how integral reading is to any student’s improvement and we have composed relevant reading lists which we provide for concerned parents. We also operate an active ‘Book Club’ in which students can borrow pieces of literature recommended by their teachers.
