Congratulations to all students that have just completed their October / November exams! We are pleased to announce that the various results publication dates have been confirmed as follows and all students will receive their results via email by 10.00 am (at the latest) on the applicable date: –
CIE A-Level Results: Thursday 10th January 2019
CIE IGCSE & O-Level Results: Thursday 17th January 2019
AQA, Edexcel, OCR & WJEC GCSE Results: Thursday 17th January 2019
Results will be supplied in the form of a Statement of Results, which will be attached to the email. Whilst this is not a formal certificate, it is the standard format for all results in the UK and will be accepted as such by colleges, universities and employers. Students that are unhappy or concerned with their results can contact us on the applicable day, either via phone or email; staff will be on hand from 8.30 to 4.30 to advise on all the post-results services options that are available.
We will be running a dedicated mock examination service between Monday 10th and Friday 14th December 2018. Mock exams will be available every day at our centre at 9.00 AM and 1.30 PM and exams completed during this week will be available at the reduced rate of £40 per paper – with professional marking and feedback (including an overall grade) provided back to students within seven days. All mock examinations are completed under exam conditions and are the ideal way to gauge progress and tailor your studies. Also, if you have not taken exams for a while (or at all) they provide valuable experience of working in timed conditions. Please contact us for further details regarding registration.

Onscreen Functional Skills Mathematics tests will be available at our centre throughout December – including over the festive period – and we only require one week’s notice to make a booking. Interested students should contact us now to book their place. It only costs £99 to take the test and we can also provide intensive one-to-one tuition prior to the test to get students fully prepared.

We will be hosting examinations for various universities during December, including Aberdeen University, Strathclyde University, Queen Margaret University and Edinburgh Napier University. We take great pride in supporting these universities with their examinations. Students from other universities that are considering taking their examinations off-site should contact us – we are even happy to open our centre on Saturday and Sunday to accommodate these exams!
The registration deadline for the May / June 2019 examination series is Thursday 14th February; however, students can secure their place prior to Christmas with just an initial 15% deposit! This is highly recommended for students wishing to take GCSE Maths, where places are at a premium or students taking A-Level Sciences, as it helps to spread the cost of paying for the practical endorsements. Please contact us for further details regarding this payment option.
Finally, for those students who sat examinations with us in the summer, we have now received most of the June 2018 exam certificates (we are just waiting on AQA). We will be contacting all students over the coming days asking for their postal preferences and begin the process of sending out the certificates on Friday. As we have over 350 certificates to send, we kindly ask all students to be patient with us, as it can take a few weeks for us to post them all. If you live local to our centre we recommend popping in anytime Monday to Friday between 8.30 and 4.30 to collect your certificates.
